Cuatrociénegas Research Institute

A redesign of the Cuatrociénegas Scientific Research Center website. Main objectives were to highlight the diverse nature of Cuatrociénegas' environments and species and to provide a central location to document the research activities and resources of the local scientists. Located in Mexico's Ocampo Valley, Cuatrociénegas is unique in being a collection of water bodies in a vast desert; thus, it was significant that the site bring attention to issues of sustainability, protection, and the relationship of the local community to the surrounding bio-reserve. The website is built in Drupal and contains functionality to allow research center scientists to upload photos to the gallery, reserve research station space, publish profiles on flora fauna, and list bibliographies of related papers.
