Illustrations for the Simple Steps website representing each of the main topics -- Food, Health, Home & Garden, and Community. In the site, the illustrations are interactive allowing for placement of links to subtopics and particular highlighted articles relating to the subject. The Home & Garden illustration was also used for the Household Savings Calculator, which allows for users to calculate energy and carbon usage savings through the illustrated interface. Done in collaboration with Wildflower Interactive and THamTech.

Who am I?

About Me

I'm a designer in Austin, TX. My interests include: narrative information design, picture books, and designing meaningful learning experiences through technology and digital media. I have a BA/BFA in Design from the University of Texas at Austin and a MA in Education from Stanford University through the Learning, Design & Technology program. My favorite book of all time is the Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith.
